HISTORY and ACTIVITIES
The bio analytical laboratory established in 1977 in Poitiers was acquired by PAREXEL in 1999. This laboratory was acquired by Synchron Research Services Pvt. Ltd., India in 2008 and is part of the International Network of laboratories of Synchron. (Press releases from PAREXEL and SYNCHRON)
SYNEXEL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Synchron, India. This laboratory is known as the pioneers in the field of coupling chromatography and mass spectrometry in Europe.
SYNEXEL has a mature and well developed quality system that is based on the OECD consensus guidelines on GLP as enacted by the French government. In addition to its solid foundation of standard operating procedures, there is a strong culture of systems qualification and validation. Since 1993 this laboratory has been regularly inspected by the French authorities (AFSSAPS) with respect to GLP compliance and it is certified as being compliant (Status A). Data produced in this laboratory have been submitted to European and US authorities (e.g. EMEA, MHRA, US FDA). In this GLP conform environment, SYNEXEL is specialized in the development of highly sensitive methods for the quantitative determination of new chemical entities and marketed compounds and their metabolites, including generics. Over 350 different assay methods have been developed and validated in the laboratory. The unit is capable of doing the most sophisticated developmental work with new, complicated molecules (examples include hormones, endogenous compounds and bisphosphonates etc.) as well as high-throughput routine assays for bioequivalence studies accommodating your needs and requests. SYNEXEL can make provision for the synthesis of internal standards or metabolites, labeled with stable isotopes, when required.
